The NEQ2 mount now has a larger saddle mount head, making the installation and removal of the telescope easier, faster and simpler. Like the larger mounts, the saddle mount head can be released in one go, so the telescope can be mounted and dismounted in seconds. The NEQ2 mount rests firmly on an adjustable-height steel tripod, the steel tripod making the mount more stable and stiffer overall than its predecessor. Between the three legs we find a practical eyepiece holder tray, which can also be removed in one go when we pack the telescope. The mount can also be removed from the tripod in one go, so the whole system can be disassembled and reassembled quickly. Both axis have manual fine-tuning for precise positioning and celestial tracking of objects. For an additional fee, a single axis motor (DC or stepper motor) can be connected to it, with which the tracking of objects becomes automatic.
